Trip to Indy

I've just returned from an amazing week in Indy. I was primarly there for Sara Cain's wedding (now Sara Luketich), however I made my rounds to see family and friends.

1. Visited my college friend Kristie in Lafayette, IN. She has two adorable boys. Ethan and Emerson. I also got to see my friend Erica's mom.
2. Visited my childhood friend Melissa in Clinton, IN. She has two children also, Rebecca (named after me) and Joseph. Rebecca is a trip. Definitely named appropriately. We had a ball singing, dancing, and performing. You know, right up my alley.

A couple of wedding highlights:
1. Got yelled out by the priest at the rehearsal for talking and acting up. Somethings never change.
2. Saw some girlfriends I haven't seen since college. My bro and his wife Kristen were also there.
3. Sara had the best photographer ever. Bobbi+Mike. Check out her website for photos from the wedding. www.bobbiandmike.com.

Gettn' my Tahoe-on!

Here are some pics from my trip to Lake Tahoe with my brother Peter and his in-laws. The scenery was breathtaking. The weather outstanding. See for yourself. I plan on going back every summer. So if anyone wants to fly out next August, holla!

Bain of my existance

Thanks to Uncle Sam, I got a new camera. I have never owned a camera before. A few disposable, underwater cameras here and there, but nothing to really call my own. I've always counted on my friends to take the pictures and I would just gank some pics from them. Well not anymore peeps. So here's some background around my inaugural photo shoot.

Because of the great California weather, accessibility, and mainly because I could the exercise, I have started working out more. I have the luxury of being .5 miles from "the Dish". The foothills at Stanford University, popularly known as "The Dish," are used primarily for academic purposes, enviornmental restoration, habitat conservation, and for my use, recreation. "The Dish" is 3.5 miles from the gate to gate and is open to the public from approximately sunrise to sunset throughout the year.

So these pictures take you through my walk. I will say it's nice to have music being pumped into my hears via my awesome new ipod (thanks again uncle sam) because I can't hear how out of breath I really am. Granted I'm sweating my balls off, in addition to the salty sweat running down my face, but it's a darn good workout for those lovely thighs I inherited from Warren G's (dad) side, and I don't care how I look, sweat and all, because I'm all about getting my workout on. I just don't make eye contact with my fellow leftcoasters, even if I wanted to I couldn't since the sunblock is running into my eyes, practically blinding me throughout the walk. Whateves, moving on. So the view from uptop is absolutely gorgeous. I can see all the way to the East Bay and even to the San Fran and the Oakland Bridge on clearer days. I'm looking forward to taking mom and dad on the walk when they arrive at the end of August.

Enjoy!

The Beginning

Let the blogging begin!!! Okay, acutally, I will mostly be using this blog to upload photos (with commentary). My friends say I'm a retard becasue I make absolutely no sense the majority of the time. So you're going to have a great time trying to understand what I've written. But at least the blog will be humorous (hopefully) and full of Beccaness. See, I also make up words. So, moving on.

I'm gonna try to get my bike (acutally my mother's bike) a tune up and maybe bike to work when I can. I can save some money on gas and enjoy this great weather. Speaking of which, no humidity, no bugs, no crazy thunderstorms. I have heard though that the winter can bring some major winds and rain. That sucks for the swimmers and divers. But it's Cali baby, people swim outdoors year round. It doesn't phase them. Yeah, well I'll be the judge of that when December rolls around.

Oh, so my office is right by the men's locker room. OMG!!! Let's just say, I think they built this office just for me. My door splits, so the bottom half can stay shut, but the the top half can stay open. So I see them come out the locker room all ready to get their workout on, with barley nothing on and omg.... I think you can imagine the rest.
