Bain of my existance

Thanks to Uncle Sam, I got a new camera. I have never owned a camera before. A few disposable, underwater cameras here and there, but nothing to really call my own. I've always counted on my friends to take the pictures and I would just gank some pics from them. Well not anymore peeps. So here's some background around my inaugural photo shoot.

Because of the great California weather, accessibility, and mainly because I could the exercise, I have started working out more. I have the luxury of being .5 miles from "the Dish". The foothills at Stanford University, popularly known as "The Dish," are used primarily for academic purposes, enviornmental restoration, habitat conservation, and for my use, recreation. "The Dish" is 3.5 miles from the gate to gate and is open to the public from approximately sunrise to sunset throughout the year.

So these pictures take you through my walk. I will say it's nice to have music being pumped into my hears via my awesome new ipod (thanks again uncle sam) because I can't hear how out of breath I really am. Granted I'm sweating my balls off, in addition to the salty sweat running down my face, but it's a darn good workout for those lovely thighs I inherited from Warren G's (dad) side, and I don't care how I look, sweat and all, because I'm all about getting my workout on. I just don't make eye contact with my fellow leftcoasters, even if I wanted to I couldn't since the sunblock is running into my eyes, practically blinding me throughout the walk. Whateves, moving on. So the view from uptop is absolutely gorgeous. I can see all the way to the East Bay and even to the San Fran and the Oakland Bridge on clearer days. I'm looking forward to taking mom and dad on the walk when they arrive at the end of August.

Enjoy!
